“Sponsorships” or “Promos” are exactly the same as “advertisements” on commercial radio, they are professionally produced, voiced and scripted. With community radio you have the added bonus of a tag at the end of your promo telling everyone that your business supports a LOCAL community organisation - 95.1 FM
At first glance, commercial advertisements may seem cheaper per ad, but when looking closer, how viable are your promotional messages at 3am? 95.1 Only place their promos in viable hours, that is hours when there are listeners.
95.1 is a not for profit organisation who provides a valuable service to our community through fundraising , community announcements, multicultural programming, and just good old fashioned entertainment! The investment our sponsors provide is funnelled directly back into your station to cover running costs.
Community Radio limits itself to only 5 minutes of promotional material in any given hour. That’s only 10 x 30 sec promos! These promos are spread out into groups of 2 or 3 to ensure your message is heard loud and clear. We also endeavour to keep businesses of a similar nature in different brackets.
